Pools and rapids are excellent for swimming, fishing and canoeing, and there are good opportunities for bushwalking.There's plenty of room for campers and day visitors.
Access 80 km north of Tamworth, 35 km north¬east of Manilla on the unsealed Namoi River Road. This campground is beside the Namoi River. You can go hiking, swimming, canoeing and fishing here. Camping is only permitted at numbered sites, as shown on the plan in the information shelter.
Getting there: The campground is on the Namoi River Road.
Facilities: picnic tables, non-flush toilets The campsite is accessible by all weather unsealed roads suitable for 2wd vehicles
The campsite is signposted and can be found on the southern border of the park, about 35km NE of Manilla on the Namoi River. Drive along the Namoi River Rd.
You will need to walk a short distance from your car to the campsite - no caravans or camper trailers
Plenty of walking, swimming and fishing in the area.
