Willows Camping and Recreation Reserve - Wahgunyah VIC
The Willows Camping and Recreation Reserve is located at 19 McDonnell Street, Wahgunyah. Access is at the end of Short Street. Wahgunyah is 298km north east of Melbourne. Wahgunyah is an historic town directly across the river from Corowa NSW. The recreation reserve has good amenities. To access the camping area take the left track in front of the welcome sign (see photo below). The track could become a bit sloppy in the wet. The reserve has picnic facilities, BBQ and is very well maintained. A donation is requested for camping. Photos on this page were taken on the 12th February 2016.

Brilliant campground on the Victorian side of the mighty Murray River, even caught a few Murray Cod with cheese, while we were there in January. Definitely will be back.

Great camp area but quite busy. Walk to town and great swimming in the river on a hot day. The only draw back is the birds, hundreds of cockatoos and they are noisy day and night.
