Tess writes: "The O C Ling Memorial Caravan Park at Turners Beach is dog friendly, on lead, at caretakers discretion. Situated right beside the beautiful large main beach with walking tracks right into the nearby town of Ulverstone. Metro bus service at the front of the park running into town and a Service station with takeaway food/basic food items & gas refills 500m down the road.Price for powered site is $17 per night, children $5. Pay for 6 nights get the 7th night free. They have around 12 powered sites and the rest are very friendly, quiet permanents and onsite vans for rent.Laundry, great 20c hot showers, camp kitchen, book & older video honesty library. Park is usually fully booked in summer holidays but plenty of room at other times.We have been here for 2 months before we head to the mainland and would recommend it for a week or longer."

It’s a great place to be but there’s no 20 cent showers anymore they are $1 showers
