James Ashby is the Marketing & PR Manager for Gowinta Farms and he writes:
"We’re the Sunshine Coast’s largest strawberry farm with over 250 employees. With no caravan park in Beerwah and very little affordable accommodation in the area, we decided to build our own. Our facilities are now complete and we’re open for business!

It’s just 5km from our caravan park which is nestled amongst 150 acres of strawberries, 10,000 lychee trees and 3 million pineapples. You couldn’t ask for a better backdrop to your holiday escape.
Our caravan park is equipped with the following facilities:

Beerwah Caravan Park. Queensland, near Sunshine Coast.
Amenities are at excellent level.
Laundry is limited but ok. It does have a book exchange service which is good.
It has a Community Garden and an outdoor space – both excellent. The Community Garden is organised, as far as I’m aware, by a resident of the Caravan Park and collects bottles to assist with the costs – excellent!
It is near Beerwah Shopping Village which is a good village.
It is near Glass House Mountains, Maleny, Sunshine Coast and not far from Brisbane.
HOWEVER, we’ll never go back whilst the current Manager is in place. Her name is Faye. We’ve experienced her as abrupt and a bully on our first visit there. On our second visit there we experienced abruptness and rudeness. All was unnecessary
You might wonder why, after the first visit, we re-visited. We were travelling doing Relief work and we had contacts in the area and in Brisbane – it was convenient and we didn’t have time to change.
Next time we’ll find somewhere else.
