Stroud Showground is located at The Bucketts Way - N , Stroud. Stroud is located 223km north of Sydney and 72km north of Newcastle. Stroud is a delightful country town in the Upper Hunter. The population is approximately 900. The Showground offers excellent spacious accommodation at a very good price for caravans and RVs. There is plenty of room and approximately 20 powered sites. The park is quiet and welll maintained. A ranger comes around several times a day to collect the fee which was $17 a night when I stayed. The amenities are clean and the main town is only a short walk away. The local swimming pool is adjacent to the park. Optus mobile reception was not available during my visit. Photos on this page were taken on the 10th March 2015.
