We stayed at Rollingstone Beach Caravan Resort in July 2013 for a week. While the park itself was very clean and tidy, we were a long way from the amenities and it was quite dangerous trying to manoeuvre yourself there after dark as the lighting was very poor. At $40 (less 10% for Big 4 members) it was quite pricey, considering the facilities. I don't know how they were awarded the gold award for excellence....we didn't receive a welcome pack of tourist brochures...we thought as it was classed as a resort it would be self sufficient, but that wasn't the case...luckily I had been shopping just before went there...the kiosk that was in the reception area was very poorly stocked with just a few soft drinks. If we wanted essentials like milk or bread, it had to be preordered and they were charging $4 a loaf. We were situated on a powered site on the lake, right in front of a water feature, which consisted of 2 pontoons with a rusty barrel on top that aerated the water from 10am to 4pm daily and was quite noisy. We definitely will not be going back again.

This is a great FREE campground and the restaurant is wonderful with the best fish n chips you will find anywhere. However there are only about 15 sites that are unpowered, no ensuite cabins or sites etc. The features on this page are incorrect. Perhaps the address relates to somewhere else.
