This park is ideally set up for overnighters with lots of drive throughs and plenty of ensuite sites. It is close to shops for essentials, Shell fuel and a short drive across the causeway to the main shopping area. The park has good facilities. The sites are relatively flat with slabs for the wheels although some are not quite flat. Not much grass about, but Port Augusta can be hot and dry. There is a nice pool area. The only minor issue is that the doors of the toilet/shower building slam on both the women's and mens. There are signs pleaded for travellers not to slam the doors, but it needs to be fixed.
