Wilson Memorial Park Campground - Murrurundi NSW

Wilson Oval is located on the New England Highway near the Mount Street intersection. Day camping is permitted in the Oval but you must not stay overnight. The Camping Area at the back of the Oval is also off limits. The amenities block is quite small. The Oval has a nice playground for children and good sheltered picnic table and BBQ. Some traffic noise may be experienced in this location because of the heavy traffic on the New England Highway. Make sure you visit Pearl Moon's shop which is opposite the supermarket. She has some outstanding clothing for men and women and also accessories. The Tourist Information Centre is directly opposite the park. Pages Caravan Park is available a little further up the highway. Murrundi is a very nice town with some delightful coffee shops and art and craft studios.
