Belah Campground - Mungo National Park NSW

Visitors camping in either of the parks 2 camp areas need to fill out a self-registration form here and can pick up a map and guide-trail of the self-guided 70km driving tour that provides an opportunity to explore a large area of the park.
The Visitors Centre can be found 11Okm north-east of Mildura via Buronga along the Arumpo Road, or 147 km north-west of Balranald. All roads are unsealed and are impassable after rain. A detailed information package is available from the Buronga office or the website. Vehicle entry fee applies.

Mungo and the Willandra Lakes World Heritage Area are magnificently spectacular, especially at sunset on the Walls Of China! The area has a vast, almost unbelievable, historic past and is an extremely interesting landscape with scrub land, dry clay pans and pristine white all rolled into one! This campground has flat gravel sites.
The Grasslands Nature Trail starts here and there is also a trail leading to the lookout. Mungo Visitor Centre, with flush toilets and hot showers, is only 2 km away. There are free gas barbecues and wood fireplaces available for campers. Wood can be collected from the wood bay near the Mungo Visitor Centre for $5 per 25-litre bin.
Getting there: This campground is on Arumpo Road. The route includes unpaved roads, generally suitable for 2WD cars, though roads may become impassable in wet weather.

This campground is halfway around the park's one-way drive tour, just a bit north of the Mallee stop.
You will need to walk a short distance from your car to the campsite - no caravans or camper trailers
There are a total of 12 campsites
A nice, quiet campsite. A small dam can be used for drinking water if treated.
You are not able to book these campsites - first come basis
