Mudgee Tourist & Van Resort - Mudgee NSW
Mudgee is a town of 8,000 people situated in an area favourable for wine growing and general agriculture. The town has a number of caravan parks but my pick is the Mudgee Tourist & Van Resort. The park is situated in a quiet area well away from the highway. It is quite spacious and amenities are excellent. The park is located on the southern side of Mudgee. Powered sites for caravans are well located and offer good shade. The reception area is modern with good supplies if you run short of anything. The park has some lovely modern cabins and also offers motel-style accommodation. The resident managers are Brett and Irene Swords. Very nice park, although sites are narrow. Only van and awning width, car out the front. Some sites have concrete drive strips and a concrete awning pad, others are road base and with a small square of artificial grass. Friendly staff. Amenities are modern and clean.

Stayed a night in April 2015, friendly management / staff. Recently became a Big 4 park. Good clean park - Amenities clean. Sites are large and mostly level - I needed to raise one side slightly. If there are not many vans in some sits are drive through. Water is good, water pressure is good. Pet friendly.

We reently stayed at this park with our four legged friend named Fidget. What a great park with friend staff and management. Amenites are always clean and there is rubbish bins provided for powered sites which are emptied regularly. The park is alittle way out of town but still within easy reach to vinyards.
