Mittalong is the gateway to the Southern Highlands. Situated 109km south of Sydney the town has a population of 6,100 people and is a most desirable to place to live for those who want to escape the rush and congestion of Sydney. Mittagong Caravan Park is next to a delightful sporting field on the Old Hume Highway. The highway is fairly busy but traffic volume drops off considerably at night. There are some good drive though sites well back from the highway. The reception and office is also a shop with lots of groceries and food.
