East's Ocean Shores Holiday Park - Manning Point NSW
East's Ocean Shores Holiday Park is located at 32 Manning Street Manning Point. The park has an excellent range of cottage and cabin accommodation to suit all budgets. There are 69 powered and 13 unpowered sites available for caravans, campers and motorhomes. Facilities in the park are excellent. The park describes itself as a "... number one 4.5 star award winning family park in a quiet seaside bush setting, the best by the ocean and river, 4WD beach access and jetty." Manning point is a little bit of a drive off the highway from Taree. The roads are a little narrow and uneven but are have little traffic and don't present any problems.The park has good cabin accommodation and powered sites for caravans all have concrete slabs. The sites are not overly big and would not accommodate very large rigs. There is good amenities but the camp kitchen is very basic and quite small. The BBQs plates were rusty so I would not recommend using them. There are many permanents in the park, most appear to be holiday homes. The park sits right next to the beach but because of the thick scrub and trees it cant be seen but the ocean can certainly can be heard. The roads are all sealed within the park but there are deep gutters running down the centre of the roads which might cause a few problem when backing a caravan unless you have good ground clearance. There is 4 wheel drive beach access at the other end of town and a boat ramp and small jetty to fish from. Taree has good shopping nearby.
