The historic mining town of Lithgow has a population of 11,450. The smell of burning coal fires has long gone and the town has a fresh clean smell of mountain air. The
Lithgow Tourist & Van Park is situated in Cooerwull Road 1km west of the Post Office. The park is located on a hill with good views of the surrounding countryside. Some traffic noise is unavoidable because of the proximity of the highway. The owner declined my invitation to take photos within the park so these photos were taken from the road outside the park. The powered sites shown in the photo are facing north and are well placed to catch the sun. The resident managers are Greg and Meredith Johnson. Bookings can be made by
telephoning the park and please tell the park that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos. Photos on this page were taken on 4th September 2006.
