This is one of those caravan parks which will pull you back for another visit at some time in the future. It is ideally situated on the main road in the centre of town, just a few minutes’ walk from the shops. It has a park like feel about it with beautiful gardens (delightful in the spring), lawns and shady trees. Across the road is a large park playground for kids to enjoy. The park has a mix of slab, grass and gravel sites with plenty of room for large vans. Shower / toilet facilities are clean, a little aged, but adequate. The camp kitchen and BBQ area looked great from a distance. A dump site is situated on the road outside the park. We stayed for two nights but it would be very easy to stay for much longer to fully explore this region which takes in the southern end of the Flinders Ranges and mid north of South Australia. This is a well-managed park with friendly and engaging operators.

A little gem ... clean, quiet and with the friendliest hosts we've met ... fresh flowers in the Ladies ablution block which were spotless ... as was the laundry which also a very useful information board with lots of things to see and do. The caravan park also had a lovely flower garden ... you don't see many like that. And only $25 a night for a powered site. We enjoyed our stay there and will return whenever we're making the trek south into Adelaide or even across the country ... it's worth the minor detour.
