The famous Cooper Creek waterholes are a star attraction, including Queerbidie, Minkie, Tilcha, Cullyamurra, Scrubby Camp and Kudriemitchie.
Innamincka Regional Reserve was the first reserve of its type in Australia to allow multiple use of the reserve for energy production, pastoralism and recreational use. Careful and balanced management of the area is vital to protect the wildlife, archaeology and anthropology values while allowing the important cattle industry and the area's vital energy reserves to be managed responsibly.
To camp in the Reserve you must be in possession of a current Desert Parks Pass or an Innamincka Regional Reserve camping permit.
