Bimbimbi Riverside Caravan Park - Woombah NSW
The Bimbimbi Caravan Park is situated in Woombah which is 12 kilometers west of Iluka. The park has good amenities and expansive river views at the south end of the park. There are 84 sites, 31 of which are tourist. The tourist sites are scattered throughout the park. A store and fuel stop is well placed at the entrance to the park. The resident owner is Chris Ferro. Bimbimbi Caravan Park is located on the Iluka Road, Woombah NSW. It is less than 5 minutes from the Pacific Highway. Bimbimbi is a quiet family friendly park, there is lots of space, a big swimming pool and playground for the little kids.
The park has a shop, bottle shop and supplies fuel. It is not located directly on the beach and compared to many it is relatively small. The surprise comes when you drive through the park to the other end. There is the most magnificent view you are ever likely to see! The park backs onto an arm of the river and there are boat launching and fish cleaning facilities.
If you enjoy the wildlife there are lots of birds, kangaroos and other living creatures. The many beaches of Iluka and Yamba are not far away. Choose either the surf or more gentle waters. Fishing spots are plentiful be it from the shore or in a boat, just be sure to invite the fish to the party! The towns of Grafton, Lismore and Ballina are close enough to satisfy all your shopping needs.
The owners are fantastic and every year that we arrive we can see that improvements have been made. We count ourselves very lucky to have found such a quiet relaxing spot with such friendly people.
The general area has a lot to off the family holiday maker and Bimbimbi Caravan Park is a fantastic home base from which to discover the surrounding area.
