Hamelin Pool Caravan Park is a great place to stay, they have to get water delivered and there is no water drinkable any where in Hamelin Pool Area only rain water, so that is the way it is, but the water you get is well worth drinking, and yes you do have to help yourself out of the tank if you want rain water or you can collect fresh water from the Cafe/Restaurant 10 L per day is available and enough to use for cooking and drinking this is available for powered sites and non powered sites, a desal plant is now being fitted on the Shell Block Toilet Block and a New Toilet Block has fresh water for the Air Con Units
This is the cheapest Caravan Park in Hamelin Pool Area and it also is pet friendly and has powered sites for only $27.00
A lot of improvements have been made to the Park during 2012 and a lot more including a swiming pool during 2013. And more unit accommodation is being planed for 2013
You can walk to the Stromatolites and watch the sun set over the Stromaloties just a short walk from your caravan or tent.
