Gympie Caravan Park - Gympie QLD

Gympie Caravan Park is located at 1 Jane Street on the northern side of Gympie. The park is close to the Bruce Highway so some traffic noise will be unavoidable. The park is easy to access and the roads throughout are in reasonable condition. The park has 44 tourist sites and 12 cabins. Motel style accommodation and on site vans are also available. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The resident managers are Richard and Emma. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell the park that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos. Photos on this page were taken on 16th May 2008.

Gympie Caravan Park is now closed to the public, after the Council cancelled the manager's 30 year contract. A few "permanent" residents remain, and can't legally be removed, but the Council is "encouraging" them to leave too.

After staying at this park I think Rose of casino must be hard to satisfy .
Staff were friendly they even saved me a trip to mechanics .
A staff member fixed the problem . Were else do you get service like that.
I offered to pay . With no luck . I was told that we love to help were we can .
Thanks Gympie caravan park you made my holiday better.
ps. Rose Callaghan should not be so judgmental I bet she complains were ever she goes.
Keep up the good work Gympie caravan park ill be back.

Sad to say I was very disappointed, The standard was way below what it had be a few years ago when we had stayed. The van was dirty and several fittings broken or missing. We saw several cockroaches and lots of droppings. I would have gladly moved to another park but we had already paid for the 2 nights we stayed. If we had been booked more nights I would not have stayed but will not go back again I feel we payed for very bad service.
