Gowan Rest Area - Coonabarabran NSW

Gowan Rest Area is located on the Newell Highway, 7km north of Coonabarabran. Amenities are provided and their is a sheltered picnic area.  Another similar rest area is located on the opposite side of the Highway for south bound traffic. The surface is well sealed. Some traffic noise may be experienced due to the proximity of the Newell Highway. If you decide to stay overnight then it is entirely at your own risk.
