Sadly park is in need of lots of work, stayed there recently and they have a new portable type shower /toilet building which is not finished off.the concept of this building is brilliant( unisex) but toilets and showers dont mix when every thing is covered in mud and the water wells around and dont drain properly.I'll give it a miss next time.

I only stayed in the front, more long-term area of the park so i cannot really comment on the drive through sites, but they aren't much. The amenities are basic and fairly clean, sites are a firm ground. The caravan park grounds are fairly clean and green, night lighting is good and location is great. While I stayed there were two large dogs roaming around the park without leads, a HUGE danger to other pets or small children, hence the one star. Unfortunately this is the only "dog friendly" caravan park in Goulburn.

Ive been staying at this park for around 4 months with work, And I now feel capable of writing A comprehensive and accurate review. First of all I would like to say the the park has undergone A change of ownership and is now managed by Southern Cross Family Parks. The park before this change was In an absolutely disgusting state. Therefore any reviews before late 2012 should be ignored. The park has cleaned up a lot, And more improvements are on the way.

Location – I think the location of the park is the biggest drawcard. Its only A 5 minute walk or less, Along a path to the Big Merino Service station, Multiple food shops (Curry In a hurry, Kebabs,Mcdonalds, And The Trappers Goulburn bakery) Its also about a 10 minute walk to the Black Sheep Irish pub, serving irish beers and meals. Also, Its very easy to get to from the goulburn turn off.

Sites – There are two different areas of sites, One for people who are staying for more than A week or so, And then an area for short-stayers. The long-term area is right next to the old-hume Highway witch is quite busy during a day and early night, But after that it isnt too bad. Although If you arent used to Highway noise you may have some trouble. These sites are NOT SLABS, the sites are on fairly compact dirt and rock. They're fairly even And We havent had any problems with rains. These sites are also close to the toilet block witch I will talk about a bit later on. Both areas are fairly well lit, And have power and town water. The Short-term area composes of about 20 sites, all slabs, Well lit, And close to amenities.

Amenities – There are two seperate bathroom blocks, And a seperate Laundry. First the Toilet block in the long-term area. It consist of 3 showers two toilets, And the female Bathroom also has a bathtub. They are cleaned every morning, but at different times everyday, So you never know when they will be cleaned. Ive found that they get dirty fairly easily, And only shortly after cleaning can they become in a filthy state. Escpecially if its raining or wet, The floor will become covered in mud. Quite often the male toilets smell pretty bad, And obviosly people dont know how to use a toilet brush. Sadly the toilets are not key-locked, meaning anyone can come in and use them. I feel that if they were locked by key, they would be In a lot better state. The other toilet block is round about the same, But dirtier. Ive been there and struggled to find A clean toilet out of about 12, And its not just sometimes its every-day. I find it neccasery to repeat that if the toilets were key-locked this wouldnt be the case. As for the laundry its pretty standard, and multiple clothes-lines are provided.

In conclusion I think About A 3/5 star rating is fair. The managers are reasonably friendly, the park is safe, amenities are fair, and its the only dog friendly park in goulburn.
