Governors Hill Carapark - Goulburn NSW

The Governors Hill Carapark is a neat, lovingly maintained park with excellent facilities. Children and adults will be enchanted by the model train exhibition situated next to the office. The park has excellent roads and drive through and ensuite sites are very well paved and laid out. The camp kitchen is well equipped and children will be delighted with the games room. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The park has a variety of cabins and onsite vans. McDonalds Restaurant is close by for those who arrive and are craving a quick snack. The park is part of the BIG4 Network. The resident owners are Peter and Karen. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell the park that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos.

The owners of this park have worked hard to make the park as is today. When we got here we were given some local information and a map. Nearly all sites are drive through and mostly sealed or have an concrete annex pad. All roads are sealed and curbed. There are ensuite sites and powered sites for caravans and motor homes and unpowered sites. There is a camp kitchen, a small games room and dump point. there is also nice touches like bird aviaries, a model train display and 'singing ants' make the park a nice happy place to stay. There are onsite caravans to stay in, some older cabins and some newer cabins. The amenities are old but in very good condition and very clean with good sized showers. There is a little road noise but not that bad to worry about.

While we were at Goulburn we visited the Goulburn Rail Heritage Centre. For only $10 for adults and $6 for pensioners a guide takes you through an amazing collection of old engines and rolling stock. Very well worth a visit. You can spend 2 hours exploring the site.

we recently vistied the park for a 2 night stop over, the new managers were most help ful and would recomend for anyone requiring somewhere to stay to give this park a try. Has a great setup and neatly presented and tidy. Great value for money.
