Broadwater Tourist Park - Southport QLD

The Broadwater Tourist Park is located on the Gold Coast Highway at Southport. The park has 232 sites and of these 12 are ensuite. Fourteen cottages are available for rent. The Resident Managers are Tim Eddy & Meascha McCarthy.
Alan Mitchell, in reviewing the park, writes: "This park has everything that most campers want, the amenities blocks (2) are spot on, the grounds are well kept, security is good. The boat ramp within the grounds is very user friendly we had no problem launching our boat with a hand trolley. The bus stops out the front of the park and travels both ways (back to Surfers or up to the Theme Parks) on a regular basis. Australia Fair is just an easy 15 minutes walk up the street and there are plenty of take away food outlets just across the road from the park. This park is one of our better parks and it gets a 4 from us only down side is NO PETS."
Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell the park that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos.

This is a really nice park. It has wide sealed roads throughout the park. Every site has a concrete awning slab. There are water front sites right on the calm waters of the broad water. There are en-suite sites available and nice cabins, some on the water front with decks looking over the beach and water. There is 3 amenities blocks scattered through the park. There is a camp kitchen and covered BBQ area in the centre of the park. There is also a good clean pool with a jumping pillow and play ground next to it. There is secure boom gated entrance and easy parking for checking in and a large visitor car park. Walking distance to McDonalds across the road and short drive to Australia fair shopping centre. Also short drive to Surfers and Sea world. Even though there is a busy main road in front of the park there is hardly any road noise especially at the sea side of the park. Good park to be close to all the attractions but away from any noisy party goers which you might get if staying closer to the night life hot spots.
