Genoa Wayside Stop - Genoa VIC
Genoa Wayside Stop is situated on Park Road Genoa. It used to be a caravan park but has since closed down. FREE Flushing Toilets incl Disabled. Cold Showers. Water taps.Bore Water is unsuitable for drinking. Free BBQ. Bins provided. Emptied regularly and toilet showers cleaned regularly. Turn left on Princes H/way 1KLM from Mallacoota turn off. This was once a Caravan Park but is now free. There are no powered sites. On the banks of the Genoa River. Large grassed flat area. Plenty of room for the largest rig. You can stay for a maximum of 72 hours. Travelers pull in, unhook and drive into Mallacoota. Genoa has a PUB on the other side of the river which no longer appears to be trading. There are no shops in the town. Great spot with lovely rural views. Although relatively close to the Princes Highway traffic is sparse and noise is not a problem. There is mobile coverage in the area. Photos on this page were taken in August 2015.

The first 3 photo's were taken in July 2012,the last 2 in September 2013,ignore the 4th photo as it is a mistake and is actually the campsite at Cheynes bridge near Licola in the Victorian Alpine park.
