The Grafton Bridge to Bridge Sailing Classic is conducted each year by the Clarence River Sailing Club. The event is usually held in November and the distance covered by the race is approximately 45kms from the Harwood Bridge to the Grafton Bridge. The 2004 Classic was sailed in perfect conditions and I was fortunate enough to be on Steve Profke's yacht "Sunset Strip" which just happened to win line honours.
