What a wonderful place to stay, We had the most enjoyable and relaxing stay, beautiful leafy shady trees, beautifully manicured gardens and green lawns. The facilities were great and the park had plenty of activities to enjoy or you could just relax and take in the wonderful wildlilfe and beautiful views. Very Friendly
One of the best parks that we have stayed in

I just 3 months at the river bend caravan park and found it to be very friendly. I was working in Echuca as a truck driver and getting up at 4 am at no time was I kept awake by loud music.
The facilities at park are excellent. swimming pool. tennis courts. fishing. bush walks. a heap room for the kids to ride bikes. or sit back and relax in the shade.
Thanks to you and your staff Geoff I had a great stay and looking forward to my next visit.

We can not speak highly enough about this park. We found it very friendly and very inviting with the lovely green grass and shady trees, friendly staff and large powered camp sites. We loved the atmosphere here. The sounds of the birds and the breeze through the trees and friendly, polite children riding their bikes and playing. We found the park a lot cheaper than in Echuca itself and the water in the camp kitchen was fine to drink. The 10klms of dirt road were well worth it. We would go back to this piece of paradise again no problems. The amenities were very clean and the camp kitchen well set up. We are of the older generation and just loved the tranquility of this park and its friendliness.

Our stay was unfortunately for only two nights, the 16th and 17th Feb 2013. Tranquil surroundings with abundant bird life. Wow! Accommodation first class! Facilities spot on. Only downside was no mobile reception but pay phone available. Would stay again but be better prepared [with swimwear, tennis gear etc]. We recommend this place highly.

Have just spent 10 nights at this park and found it a great getaway. The people we met while there were very friendly and easy going and made you feel welcome. The site that we had overlooked the Goulbourn River and to be able to sit around and relax and with a great view was relaxing. Thanks, Geoff and staff for a great time will recommend your park to many in our travels.

A previous person has not given a very good recommendation of this park. She would not have needed to travel into Echuca for water as there are drinking water tanks at the park. Also if she had actually ventured inside the "converted classroom" that houses the camp kitchen she would have been pleasantly surprised at the facilities provided. There are excellent playground facilities nearby to entertain any children. Perhaps she should have advised the owner that they like early nights so they could have been placed somewhere else in the park. Maybe she needs to ask a lot more questions so she will enjoy her stays elsewhere in future. Happy camping!

While this park is on the Goulburn River, there is no easy access to the river.....The park is situated about 20.5kms from Echuca town centre, 10.5kms on a dirt road... so you have to be fully stocked before heading out there or have to make trips back to town. In our case, the site we paid for did not provide water. so we had no choice but to make trips to town to get more water on a daily basis....this was not advised when we booked the site and despite the fact we had no water, it was one of the most expensive caravan parks we have ever stayed at $71 per night....the only other time that has happened was in Coober Pedy!!! The ameneties were basic and the water came from the river, so at times it was rather brown, to be expected....The camp Kitchen was a converted school portable...however we did not use these facilities so cannot comment on the conditions inside....This park has a lot of permanent sites, and whilst there were spots for non permanent vans we unfortunately were no where near those other sites....we were put in amongst the permanents and were not really made welcome....we left early from our trip due to this and figured they would not care if their music was load and they partied to 2/3am in the morning....We would not recommend this park to anyone, especially those with children....
