At low tide you can explore the coastline. There's good fishing, birdwatching and fascinating headland walks with abundant wildlife. Car-based and caravan camping is available at Diamond Head, Indian Head and Kylies Beach. Bring your own drinking water; firewood is sold on site.

This popular area offers campsites only a short distance from an accessible beach. Bring your own water. The area gets very busy on weekends and holidays, and camping fees apply.
Diamond Head camping area is the most popular of the camping areas in the park as it is the closest to the beach. It also has good facilities.
You can take a loop track from this campground via Indian Head, with panoramic views of the coast, mountains and forests. You'll need to bring drinking water. Firewood and ice can be purchased at the office.
Getting there: This campground is just off Diamond Head Road.

Water supply: There is only bore water here. The campsite is accessible by all weather unsealed roads suitable for 2wd vehicles. 282.5 km NNE of Sydney. 10km south of Laurieton-access via Diamond Head Road, on the north side of the headland. You can park a caravan, trailer, or a tent in this campground. There are a total of 80 campsites. This is a beach-front campsite with good swimming, surfing and panoramic walks.
