Burke & Wills Caravan Park - Cloncurry QLD
The Burke & Wills Roadhouse is approx half way between Normanton and Cloncurry on the Burke development Road. It is only for a one night stay. Fuel and meals are available. Alcohol is also available. Sites are level and have a common roof over them. Power and water are close by. The amenties are clean and serviceable. Noise could be a problem at night because of roadtrains. Price per night was $27, a bit rich considering that there is nothing there. Lovely sunsets. The road noise wasn't too big of a problem. Beware of snakes in the amenities, there's a sign on the door. Had a drink at the bar and watched MKR with the truckies. Good service, nice people.
