Beaudesert is situated in the south-eastern part of Queensland and has a population of 58,000 people. The town is surrounded by world heritage listed areas of rugged mountains and magnificent rainforest. It is within easy driving distance of Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The main tourst activities are camping, bushwalking, exploring local wineries plus local sporting activities.
The Beaudesert Caravan & Tourist Park is a very friendly park situated in Albert Street. The park is now under new management. The park has a number of cabins and powered sites for caravans. The caravan sites are situated at the back of the park away from the main road and have lovely rural views of the local Showground. Called to enquiry price for unpowered site overnight. $28. Crazy! Powered is $33. No thanks.

Very pleasant when I rang to make a booking, lovely welcome when we arrived and escorted to our sites. The sites look out onto the showgrounds and the golf course. The showers and toilets are very clean and modern, camp kitchen BBQ has all one requires. The park has permanent sites and as caravaners from South Aust we usually avoid these parks, but this one is great. Tonight we had a sausage sizzle supplied by the Managers. I would recommend this great park to everyone, only 70km from the Gold Coast.
