Wombat Creek Campground is located at Gloucester Tops Walking Trail - N , Barrington Tops National Park. Barrington Tops National Park is located km of Perth.
Getting there: This walk-in campground is in the northern section of the park, 9km north of Lagoon Pinch. At the junction of The Corker Trail and the Link Trail, walk east for around 1km, then take the left turn for a short walk to the campground. To get to Lagoon Pinch, take the Chichester Dam Road and Salisbury Road from Dungog.
Facilities: wood barbecues (bring your own firewood), non-flush toilets
Water supply: Water is available from Wombat Creek, but it should be treated before drinking. WALK IN ONLY : Closest point to drive and park is on all weather unsealed roads, from there it is on foot to the campsite. 9km north of Lagoon Pinch walk, about 1km east from the track junction of Corker and Link trails. There is a long walk into this campsite. This is one of several bushwalking campsites in the park, a great spot for exploring the Plateau and Careys Peak.
