Marengo Holiday Park - Apollo Bay VIC
Marengo Holiday Park is situated directly in front of the Marengo Reef Marine Sanctuary. The park has lovely views of the ocean. Marengo has 35 powered tourist sites and 21 unpowered. The powered sites are on grass and could get quite squishy during wet periods. Regulations and approval constraints have made it difficult to lay down concrete slabs.
The park has some very nice cottages with good views of the Bay. Staff are friendly and helpful. On the downside television reception in this park is non-existent (in fairness I think it is poor throughout Apollo Bay) and running 2 or 3 appliances caused the power to trip on the powered site pole that I was using plunging my van into darkness until I walked outside and restored the switch to the on position.

A nice friendly park. A few Klms out of town but certainly well worth staying at. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the amenities quite clean and the sites are level and are spacious.
