Gorgeous park. The scenery is to die for. We got there on the Tuesday after the Labour Day weekend so we had no trouble getting a site.

Very nice place even in dodgy weather, lots to do and see, plenty of walks most of an easy grade, some are treks of 2 or 3 days and more from one side of the promontory to the other.Plenty of beaches rivers and streams to explore, the weather is changeable in spring and winter so be prepared. The facilities are very good and clean and plenty of them and there are hundreds of sites and some cabins scattered about.Lots of wombats who are very tame and some will let you pat them as they wander around your camp under your chair and van but they don't like kids who chase them around yelling ! look mummy a wombat ! kids eh.The only downsides of this camp were the prices of groceries in the s/market and the terrible food at the takeaway,we tried the grilled gummy shark straight out of the freezer and it was tasteless, dry and tough, the chips were also cold so be warned.Apert from this every thing was the prom is well worth a visit.
